The Brief
The main objective of this brief was to create a visual which explains
the eruption of the digital world into the physical. New Aesthetics is
a platform for the future which involves bringing ideas to life. It is a
subject which is not widely recognised in the world however it is allways
around us. I understood New Aesthetics to be robotic and technical,
however my research told me that it can be simple like typography and
modern architecture. I also looked at parametrics which I found really
interesting which lead me to experiment with buildings.
I took the initiative to work with typography on this project
as it is the simplist form of digital elements. My initial idea was to find a
relationship between typography and the world and objects around us.
My first experiments involved furniture and natural space. Howver, I wanted
to portray my motives on a larger scale, therefore I began to experiment type
on buildings and cities.
